In accordance with the Victorian Health Records Act 2001 and the Privacy and Data Collection Act 2014, the Ballarat Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA) region respects your right to privacy.

Health Records Act
The Health Records Act 2001 (the Act) created a framework to protect the privacy of individuals’ health information. It regulates the collection and handling of health information.

Privacy and Data Protection Act
The Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (PDPA) replaced the Information Privacy Act (IPA) and established the Office of the Commissioner for Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP) in September 2014.
